The Peregrine Collective was pleased to host a salon discussing soft power, the mechanisms of the societal renewal, and our individual responses to the structures of culture. We had a wide-ranging discussion that was both descriptive and prescriptive about the influence of technology, culture, and political dynamics on soft power and the mechanisms that facilitate its spread.

The Peregrine Collective convened an intimate gathering of 25 deans, professors, and scholars who discussed the question of what the purpose of the university should be and explore the university’s evolving role in society and the tradeoffs among its competing aims. This initiative was generously sponsored by the Academic Freedom Alliance, Heterodox Academy, and the Zephyr Institute.
